As part of the Young People and Work Review being led by the Rt Hon Alan Milburn, Northumberland County Council is joining other local authorities by establishing a NEET Taskforce to lead a local response to help more young people move successfully into education, employment and training. The Northumberland NEET Taskforce is being established as part of the Northumberland Strategic Employment and Skills Partnership ensuring input from partners from education, employment, health, the voluntary and community sector, and local businesses. The Taskforce will meet in November to identify local priorities. More information to follow.
