Part funded by the Economic Inactivity Trailblazer via the North East Mayoral Strategic Authority, the team coordinates infrastructure support for the employability sector in Northumberland, raising awareness of provision, supporting partnerships and collaborative working, and providing advice and guidance to residents and businesses.
Contributing to delivery of the Northumberland Economic Strategy, and the North East Mayoral Strategic Authority’s New Deal for North East Workers and Local Growth Plan, the team takes a partnership approach working with key stakeholders including other Council services such as Northumberland Skills, the voluntary and community, public and private sectors, employers and the North East Combined Authority.
