The unique mixture of coast and countryside which is easily accessible by all, also means that there are so many opportunities to do outdoor sports and activities, whatever your experience and skill levels. And, without the time spent commuting, you are sure to have more free time to try them out.
Whether it is the simple delights of walking in the Lincolnshire Wolds, the thrill of motor sports at Cadwell Park or trying something new such as kite surfing it is all there for the taking.
Coast and country is your playground
With such a long coastline, water sports is a big deal in North East Lincolnshire including kite surfing, wind surfing, canoeing, jet ski’s, water-skiing and yachting. There are three Yacht Clubs plus a variety of water sport clubs providing lessons on the sea, reservoirs and lakes.
North East Lincolnshire is more than just coastline, there is miles of countryside, much of it designated as areas of outstanding natural beauty which makes it ideal for walkers, cyclists, horse-riders and if you are feeling adventurous you can even try your hand at a quad bike safari.
When I lived in Manchester I didn’t have the time or access to lots of hobbies. Since moving here my commuting time has been slashed, giving me time to try new things. I can be in the countryside on my mountain bike in 10 minutes and in the sea kite-surfing in 15.
